So, how do you like the look of the new site? The top ten new featiures:

1) NWUS Blog: That's this space. This is where you'll get the official word on what's next for the Society. Note that anything featured in the blog can be commented on, so let us know what you think. Also note that by subscribing to the RSS feed, the NWUS Blog can be added to your favorite Feedreader, so that you can be automatically alerted every time it changes.

2) NWUS EVENT LIST: Here we'll keep you posted on the major events of your year.

3) Medical Article Search: Here you'll find a convenient medical research news aggregator that queries Medworm for the most recent urological citations. NOTE: Members can go to www.grazr.com and design their own personalized medical news aggregator for their personal page (see My Page). Hmm. How might I apply a 4000 source research aggregator to my own specialty?

4) NWUS Calendar: A convenient place to keep up with the entire year's schedule. NOTE: Members can add a similar calendar widget combining the public NWUS calendar with their own google calendar and add it to their personal page (see My Page). Hmm. What if I could manage all my social calendars from one convenient location?

5. HELIA: A medical search tool that allows you to bookmark findings into personalized categories. NOTE: Members can place individual versions of this widget on their own page. (see My Page).

6) FORUM: A place where NWUS members can ask for help, collaborate, make announcements, or offer answers.

7) GROUPS: A place where NWUS members belonging to special groups can go for information regarding that groups activities.

8) NWUS POLLS/SURVEYS: Help us make NWUS Network better, from visit to visit, by taking a poll.

9) NWUS MEMBER MEDIA: A growing library of medical media generated by NWUS Members.

11) Perhaps the neatest thing. As more innovative web tools are identified, any of the above tools can be replaced. NOTE: And individual members are encouraged to populate their own Member page (see My Page) with whatever innovative web widget they can find or create.

One final note. Each NWUS member, upon signing into NWUS Network, is given his or her own personal page, as powerful as the Main Page. What this means is that every member has the ability to blog and add
nearly any number of web tools to their own page as their creativity allows. Each member is given the tools to meanfully personalize their member page to the Nth degree. Welcome to NING.
